Comhghairdeachas Pat Chapman who was announced as Club President following the Flipeadóirí Longfoirt AGM this week. Pat has been a true "Laochra Gael" of Slashers for decades both on and off the field and has been a constant in the promotion and development of the club over the years and particularly since the 1980s with the move to the Ballymakeegan grounds. Pat has served as an administrator at club and county level and has led fund raising for the club in his native Longford in particular leading the very popular Slashers annual golf classic for years.
