Senior Football League
On Saturday evening our seniors were away to Clonguish in round 7 of Div 1. Clonguish were out of the blocks well in the first half but we rallied as the half went on. The sides went in at half time with a scoreline of 0-11 to 1-4 to Clonguish. In the second half we were always chasing the game, and Clonguish were continuing to apply pressure resulting in them running out as comfortable winners in the end. Final score 1-20 to 1-12.

Next games up for the senior sides:
Division 1 - Home to Rathcline Friday 30th May at 8pm.
Division 3 - Away to Legan, Sun 1st June at 12.00pm.

The Senior and Junior league fixtures are all uploaded on Clubzap. To access, open Clubzap and tap on 'Games' at the bottom of the screen.

Senior Ladies
Well done to our Ladies who got their league campaign off to a winning start against Killoe on Sunday morning in Michael Fay Park.

There was some great football played by both teams. The ladies now have an extended break until the county finishes out their remaining fixtures.

Minor Club

Training continues every Thursday at 6.30 for the U-6, U-8 boys and girls and U-10 boys. The U6s were delighted to welcome Niall Ward and Pauric O'Donnell from the hurling club to lend a hand and introduce our youngest members to hurling. It was great to have the extra help, and also nice to see some parents helping out at training and sessions definitely running more smoothly as a result. Thank you Niall and Pauric!

The U10s had a blitz in Slashers last week and welcomed Clonguish Óg and St Dominic’s.

Well done to the U14s who had a big win against Ardagh on Sunday last. The lads are pictured in the main article image.

On Wednesday last, the U16s had a Div 1 shield semifinal vs St Dominic’s in Keenagh. The lads were missing some players, despite which they played very well and were winning throughout. Unfortunately Dominic’s came back and clinched the game with a goal in added time.
