Ladies
Hard luck to our senior ladies who bowed out of Leinster on Sunday afternoon at the hands of reigning champions Kilmacud Crokes.

Despite the result, our ladies put in a fantastic effort in wet conditions against the Dublin side who have been a dominant side in Leinster over the past couple of years. Wishing Kilmacud Crokes all the best in the final.

Nonetheless, it brings an end to what was another successful season for our club where our ladies retained their Division 1 and Senior Championship crowns and secured their first ever Leinster senior win when they defeated St. Lomans in the quarter final.

We would like to thank all the volunteers throughout the year whether it was helping with parking, getting the pitches ready or making the tea for our games it will always be greatly appreciated.

Big thank you to the newly appointed management team who put in a great effort all season and helped continue the success with our ladies.

To our ladies, who always do us proud within Longford and always give it their best in Leinster. Congrats on another great season.

Finally, to our amazing fan base. It's been said previously but it needs repeating. Week in week out, year after year you are the 16th lady on the field and that serious support was proven on Tuesday night last with a packed house of nearly one thousand in attendance and again on Sunday with such a massive crowd. Your support has always been appreciated and we cant wait to see you all again next year.

Well done to everyone involved this season!

U-21 Mens
Hard luck to our U21s who lost out to Grattans in the second round fixture on Sunday last. The lads will look to bounce back quickly when they take on Carrickedmond this Saturday 2nd November at 7.00pm in Slashers.

Senior Football Club AGM
The AGM is planned for 23rd November at 8.00pm. We hope to see a big turnout on the evening.

2024 Club Survey
As most teams have now wrapped up for the 2024 season and with AGMs coming up soon, it's a good time to pause for thought and have your say. We'd love to get your feedback on a number of areas in our 2024 club survey.

We want to get a wide range of feedback from across the club, ie players, coaches, parents, members, former members etc.

We're particularly keen to get feedback on interest levels for use of the gym over the winter (players and non-players).

It'd be much appreciated if you could take 10 minutes to fill out. The survey will be open until end of October. Please see link below 👇
