We had no matches last weekend, but we look forward to hosting St. Columba’s at home this Saturday 26th April at 7pm in the next round. We'd love to see a big crowd up to support!

The Junior squad start to get ready for the season in earnest as the Div 3 league for this side kicks off in mid-May.

Senior Ladies
Well done to our Senior Ladies and management who had a hard fought draw against St Helen's in the final group stage game of the Gold Cup. The match finished 2-13 to 3-10.

Well done to our Ladies for topping their group and remaining undefeated in the competition so far. We now await a semi final fixture and opponent.

Masters 2025 Fundraiser⛳
Congratulations to Dermot Mooney, Catherine Sheahan and Padraic Joyce who were the three lucky winners of the recent Masters fundraiser. A huge thank you to everyone who entered and for your continued support from all of the senior men's team.

Minor Club
The U14 side had a very strong start to the season where they beat Dromard 11-8 to 4-4 at home on Monday in their first fixture. The minors lost out to Colmcille at home on Tuesday.

The U-6, U-8 boys and girls and U-10 boys take a break from training this week for the Easter, so no training on Thursday April 24th.

We are delighted to see the large numbers of new kids at training and especially the new faces trying football for the first time, but this brings a requirement for additional coaches, particularly in the U6, U8 and U10 groups.

Any parent/ family member over 16 can become a coach, no experience in coaching or background in GAA is necessary. All training will be provided. The bigger the network of coaches we have, the better. There is no expectation that every coach will attend every week. There may be parents who would not be comfortable coaching but would be happy to help in other ways. There are plenty of options to volunteer; for instance put your name on the fruit rota, help on committee, help at the club shop when open for matches/ events, steward at events, volunteer to supervise at the ladies club fundraising disco.

I’m sure most of our coaches will agree, volunteering is hugely rewarding and can be a great opportunity for parents as well as their children to make new friends and learn new skills. It has been shown that when parents are involved, children will play for longer.

To those who already volunteer in some way, Thank You. For anyone who doesn’t but would like to help please contact Niamh MacCormaic.
