Senior Football
We played round 2 of Div 1 league on Saturday evening last at home Vs Dromard. Dromard were aided by the very strong wind in the first half and they got off to the best possible start, scoring two early goals. These two goals were the difference between the sides at half time. Slashers began to claw the deficit back in the second half with the wind, but unfortunately it wasn't enough and the game ended in a two point defeat, final score of 0-12 to 2-08.

The seniors play the second round of the Leinster League Vs Milltown CLG (Westmeath) away on Tuesday evening 9th April at 6.45pm. The fixtures are coming thick and fast, the next Div 1 game is at home to Rathcline on the following Tuesday evening, 16th April at 8.30pm and as ever we would love to see a big home crowd in Michael Fay Park.

Training continues on Tuesday and Friday evenings, with Junior players and new or returning players always welcome. The first Div 3 fixture is in the calendar for 20th April at 7pm at home Vs Carrickedmond.

Late Late Show GAA Special
Friday night last was a very special night for the club, and one we won't forget in a hurry. Our club was selected to host Marty Morrissey and the RTÉ team who were carrying out an outside broadcast for the Late Late Show GAA Special.

Well done again and thank you so much to everyone who joined us. Particularly to the 60 people who braved the elements on the Juvenile pitch to be in with a chance to win All Ireland tickets! Congratulations to Kara Shannon who was the lucky winner on the night, thanks to the exploits of Cora Staunton and Patrick Kielty in the studio!

More photos of the night are up on Facebook.

New App - 2024 Membership
We would urge everybody associated with the club to download the new Clubzap app and also to register your membership for 2024. Membership is now due and it is particularly crucial for all players to pay their subscription. The refurbished gym is getting plenty of use these days and gym membership plus access is granted via the app.
